I think I'm going to concentrate on the actual spotlight matches this week. There is five somewhat decent matches this week. Shit Vegetables vs The Wight Foundation: This is an exciting rematch. These two teams played each other in the QR. That time Poop vs the stronger team and won by one point. Twf only had four people playing in that match however, so it probably wont say that much. This could be the closest match this round, but I'm sort of guessing that Twf should win this. 4-1 for Twf, but the games are probably close. Twf just has better heavi hitturz than what Poop does. Twf does have Blade though, so that should make this game even mor exciting! Yesterday he was talking to me about some Lacrosse scandal. I don't even know what Lacrosse is, but I was listening carefully anyway. Team name vs THOR This might turn out to be either a good match or a total blowout. Team name will either have to struggle with DET (who Seeker predicted to go as far as third place finish!!!) or they will end up d0nging DET to the bottom bracket with a clear margin. Somehow I believe that that will not be the case. DET was abit of a disappointment versus Elephants in the QR, but maybe they will spice things up for this match. Perhaps Rawr and Newskin would finally get some basis for that ego of theirs. In any case I don't believe that DET could win this, but they can put up a fight. 4-1 (with somewhat decent games) for Tnam or 5-0 for Tnam. Lrcg vs Gentlemen's Club I would imagine that this could turn out to be even closer than the Twf vs Poop match, since that one holds the risk of "rape". Rape as in "I shall molest thine pixelmen". Anyhoo, back to this match. Lrcg was perhaps a tad more convincing in the Qr than what Gc was. The Gc showing vs Tcox wasn't that impressive. However, their team abrevation is "Gc", aka God Cops, so perhaps that will rub on to them. Gc doesn't really have as clear possible weak links as Lrcg does, but the heavi hitting department is in better shape on the Lrcg side. That's why I'm going to predict that Lrcg wins this 3-2. Northern Paladins vs Smurf legion Some may wonder why this match is in this article, but this one is interesting because of the happenings in mwc04. The Smurf legion team bares some resemblence to the mwc04 Agents team that threathened to defeat Np before they played them. Of course nobody believed them, their opponent included who d0nged them out quite badly. I'm pretty sure something similar will happpen now too. I'm also predicting that Rabiez will say something outrageous. Our good friend Creme is not too worried because of this match however. He is still thinking about the glorious Np vs Tfs match in QR3. When I was watching the film, I was able to read creme's mind and this is what he was thinking about his opponent in the trow game: Nfdf vs Tcox: Some may start thinking about the Tcox vs Nfdf match from mwc04 and think that this match will be tite. However, if you look at the history of teams abit further you might think different. Tcox has won all the other matches (there's about five other times I think, heck if I remember). But history aside, I think this match could be the most "skillful" match played this round. Two good teams meet each other in this one. I have predicted both of these teams to be in the top 10 of this tournament. Nfdf has a really good team work while as Tcox probably does not at the moment (they have Clank!!!). However, the Tcox heavy and middle weight hitting squad is stronger than Nfdf's and the Tcox roster has more width, so I think Tcox wins this. 4-1 for Tcox. Everyone thinks that Nfdf is full of "nice guys", with the exception of maybe Father Xmas, but I have received evidence from one of my field operatives that Nfdf is actually full of jerks like all the other teams: SEE?!?!?!?!? Shocking. Translation: Micsan: but that's a taboo Crc: nah, they just suck Crc: they suck more penos than Blade lol Micsan: true... Duan: I'm gonna use my 26 trow hack Gastank: haha |
