This team is the third or fourth BIA team we've seen, depending on whether you count the mwc04 ICBM team as a BIA team. But, since they don't seem to be doing so, neither should we. BIA won mwc03 and was in the finals of mwc05 with Tcox. The finals never finished however. BIA3 has a solid and more importantly, ACTIVE roster. This team has alot of hvi hitturs and good strategists, but unfortunately the rumor has it that Hitlow won't be around too much. If this is true, they're going to have some problems with capping. They should have no problems with most of the teams in this tournament, but somehow I find it unlikely that they will be in the finals. Top 3 finish is likely though and I could be mistaken about the finals thing, so prove me wrong guys!

Post QR update: BIA managed to get a shared #1 spot with BME. In other words their QR went as expected, so I'm not gonna change my original prediction.

Update: They lost their grudge match vs BME, so they are now seeded #2.

Update DE2: Oh dear. They did beat TFS 5-0, but the first two games were pretty close, even if the score doesn't say so. Bia was this (-) close to losing the first game. However, BME did manage to lose two games to Ageha, so I guess BIA can be forgiven as well. They are playing Lrcg next week and that should be a somewhat interesting match.

Update DE3: They did some sucking again in the first two games, but then they started playing like a 5 trow team should. Their next opponent is   ThunderCox. MWC05 FINALS?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Well not really since the teams aren't even remotely the same, but hey, at least the team names are! I would expect BIA to advance from that match, but not with ease.

Update DE4: They didn't win the match and are now in the bottom bracket. Their next opponent is NFDF. Not really the easiest opponent, but considering that the alternatives were Np and Ele, so I guess they got lucky in that sense. We'll see how it goes.

Summary: Bia did manage to avoid the 11th spot this year. Fourth place finish is not bad. They were eliminated by Np after a rather epic match that ended up with Np winning with one point. It all came down to the desert game, which is considered as some as one of the best games of desert ever. I would have to agree, it was a good game. As a team BIA certainly improved themselves against Np after a couple of weaker showings. It's a shame that they didn't get Hitlow to play that much in this tournament.This team has received 329 betting pool "votes".
