Review by Ganesh - Overview
The undermanned turnaround victory in the first game was all that surprised me in this match, but the comedic value made it worth reviewing.
Game 1 - Flag Rally on Stalk on the Borderlands
FR, Creep Wannabe:
The feeling of jollity for both teams is gone,
When the voiceover man barks the well-known "GAME ON."
With the undermanned tanks, the confusion is rank--
These two map orders draw this reviewer a blank:

map.gifI've seen N, S, E, and W drawn on a map, but this?
map2.gifI think it's a code.

Both teams begin with a decent light mix:
Gru defends TWO whereas Tanks take flag SIX.
Further confusion ensues with the Gru
When Wismuth gets orders to retreat (and push, too).

poor_wis.gifNO WAIT, ATTACK

Six of the seven on Gru's elite team
Plow the mid Tank force (it is quite a ream).
But wait! Is there hope for the tank-driving gents,
When the voiceover man says "Vict'ry imm'nent"?

Only four minutes into the Stalk game,
The tanks have spread out and only one flag remains.
While two tanks are pummeled stage center (AHG OD),
The other two approach Sam's defensive squad.

Things become hopeless as Gru sees too late
That the fate of Tanks' mid will soon be their own fate.
Sam's dwarves rebel and destroy their own thrall
By dropping their satchels with gusto and gall.

bollocks.gifAdding insult to injury

Despite being down by at least twenty percent,
The Tanks flag the GRUs in under six minutes.
The moral, we see, isn't "Do not defend,"
But "Drop all your satchels and don't overextend."

[P.S., I know, Gru, that there's only four Tanks,
But Jesus, come on, you should watch your damn flanks.]
Game 2 - Assassin on If I Had a Trow...
Ass Nut Trow:
That's enough verse for me.

Some highlights:
- Neither team goes north, luckily for each other.
- The Tanks don't defend South, and soon half of the Gru force is on their side.
- Three minutes after the Gru trower spots the Tank peasants mid, the rest of the team finally stops searching other places.

mid.gifPoor Wismuth

- The Gru offense rushes into the enormous Tank defense and manages to snag two peasants before sputtering out.  Now Gru is down a trow, but not down too much in percents.
- Wismuth has a power play with three minutes left:
foom.gifNorling is back and out for blood

- Unfortunately Sam retreats the All-Star Norling instead of letting Wismuth shoot the lock ball.
- Against his teammates' advice, Wismuth maul rushes the Tank peasants and kills 5 more!
- A lone soul kills another Tank peasant at the last second!
- Gru ALMOST WIGHTS the remaining 2 peasants at the Tanks' mid hill.
- The Tank trow kills a lone hidden peasant in the NW corner before suiciding into a maul pack at their South peasant horde.
Game 3 - Territories on Calm before the Storm
Calm Terriers:
Why do you guys both pick colors that blend into the maps?  Green on stalk and white on calm :[

More highlights:

tic_tac_toe.gifSomeone is playing tic tac toe?

- Gru seems to be obsessed with using two dwarves together.  Urzooked listens to orders and blows the shit out of a passing tree.
trees.gifDie, trees

-... and another.
- To be fair, he also blows up half of the Tank ghol/pus pack... and half of his own warriors?
heheh.gifHeh heh indeed

- The Tanks almost7-flag Gru at 6:28, with Gru's last flag remaining wide open in the middle of nowhere.
- However, gru's double-dorf tactic overcomes and Gru wins everywhere, soon gaining a 30% lead.
- Nothing else funny happened, so I'll stop there by saying Gru 7-flagged in another couple minutes.
