A good insight in coordination and excellent strategy.
MMC played very well through this entire match, but came up on the short end due to smart playing by WP and and a few slight mishaps involving dwarves for MMC.

WP exhibited clean execution of attacks and flanks, and well deserved their wins.
Game One - Territories Shuffle Off this Mortal Coil

MMC began the game with an interesting strategy, and some humorous poop throwing at the reviewer ;-), while WP started off with lag for CyberBob, and an equally interesting strategy.

Going with a two flank setup, MMC sent a massive melee flank straight east from their northwest starting position; and their berserks and missile units to the middle.

WP noticed early on that one player had almost 47% of the units, and it's small flank north later met MMC's melee rush. Using some outstanding maneuvering, WP still managed to kill a good portion of the melee batch in the north.

WP's southern flank, learning that there was no opposition for them in the west, headed north to the mid, where things were at a stalemate until WP could place warlocks on each wall overlooking the middle. Using this warlocks on walls approach., they gave MMC a few surprises and decimated their middle archers.

With the middle lost, MMC had to scrape togther it's few remaining melee to try to hold off WP from capturing all the flags, but alas, WP captured all flags to end the game.

Final: WP - Wins 8 flags - 0 flags

Game Two - Territories Shuffle Off this Mortal Coil

The game begins with some more info for the reviewer, which luckily it's a different person than they expected.

Realizing they couldn't afford to leave their middle open to warlock attacks as in the last game, MMC sets out with an all middle rush, in an attempt to get their warlocks on both walls overlooking the middle.

Unfortunately, they didn't achieve their goal for both walls, and ended up with a lock on only one wall.

WP took this in stride however, and using some good flanking was able to overcome MMC's all mid strategy, again, tagging all flags to end the game.

Final: WP - Wins 8 flags - 0 flags

Game Three - Flag Rally Drowned Empire

WP and MMC almost went toe to toe through this entire map, but a timely attack by WP let them get the victory.

Probably MMC's closest game to a win.

Final: WP - Wins

Game Four - [Flag Rally] [Drowned Empire]

WP took a good portion of their army middle this time, and met no one. They then split up between defending their home flag and attacking MMC's home flag.

Again, a very close game, but MMC let's it slip away while WP demonstrates excellent coordination to win in the dwindling last seconds.

Final: WP - Wins

Game Five - Captures Dead of Winter

WP took a deciding lead early in the game by send a large flank unchallenged through the south and to the east of MMC. Surprisingly however, MMC at one point had control of 7 balls, but they were strung out and after WP's nicely executed attack from the east, were in no position to challenge for the 8th ball.

Final: WP - Wins 8 balls - 0 balls

MMC played very well through this entire match, but came up on the short end due to smart playing by WP and and a few slight mishaps involving dwarves for MMC.
