Greek Gods defeats Patriots of Braveheart 56-18 Review by Myrkridon Return to Index I heard somewhere that PBH has been playing Myth for 2 or 3 years. Well, they played this match like they'd been playing Myth for 2 or 3 days. Probably 2. Return to IndexGG gives up some points that they really didn't have to, but they generally play solid Game One - Stampede Desert Both teams get about the same units trade, with lots of ghols and archers, and about 13 pigs. GG does a typical 3-way, and PBH only covers the mid and the north. PBH does react to GG's south flank though...by sending *only* archers and ghols with no support whatsoever. Needless to say, the game ends pretty soon after it starts, with every PBH flank getting beat down by their opponents. GG gets all the points they could have this game by scoring 12 pigs. Their cap Poseidon was probably wishing he'd traded for 30 by the end of this game Game Two - Territories Trow Think of this as an exact replica of last game, except with dark units. The only difference is that GG gets the max possible points this time Game Three - Flag Rally Cracks PBH gets max melee, dwarves and pus, while GG gets a more standard trade with archers. PBH sits all their units except for their ghols on their 4 flags, and sends out their ghols on the attack. GG does the typical 3-prong strat. PBH's ghols find their way into GG's fortress, which is only guarded by a few thrall. Sadly, PBH could have easily gotten both the flags early on, and won by defending their base with max dwarves, but they sit around playing with the enemy's dropped satchel charges until GG destroys their outer defences. By the time they finally getting around to killing the thrall guards, they're down by 60%. Ouch. GG wins 8 flags to 6. |
