Update- 6/24/01
We played our last two games, Aesir and MoL. Our game against Aesir was just embarrassing, and I blame it on the fact that only two of our team showed up. Durandal was at the beach and turokman was helping someone with a scouts project or something. However, the team was pleased overall with our competition with MoL, because (although the score does not reflect this) we were a good deal more organized and limited the number of shutouts to 1 out of 3. Would've done even better if we had our fourth man, Raistlin, who decided to spend the night at an all-you-can-eat buffet.
Once again we thank you for your 8 additional votes, bringing the total to 99.

Update- 6/22/01
  91 votes! Outrageous! Unpossible! We did even worse against F,comm than we did against 58th yet our top ten votes have nearly doubled. We probably won't be going much farther in the tournament because Durandal is going to the beach and won't be coming back till next weekend. If we're unlucky enough, it will be the day after DE1.
  We could have lost by less against F, but Durandal and Raistlin, whose internet connections are (ahem) _lacking_, screwed things up by dropping. Not their fault, but most of our problems can be blamed on AOL-TimeWarner. Yet another evil of the capitalist machine is exposed by hyperintelligent magnet students.
 
 Update- 6/11/01
   Well despite our embarrassing defeat to Rabble Forces (I mean, we expected to be beaten, but not with such a large margin!!) a few people still seem to think we are worthy of top 10 votes, thus bringing our total to 56. We salute you, whoever you may be. If we get more votes, we might even express some more gratitude, so keep 'em coming!

   Whoa where are those top ten votes coming from? 36 is nothing to boast about, but someone had to submit 'em, and there are 72 teams to choose from, so in short we're all flattered that someone other than ourselves thinks that we will make the top ten! We will certainly try, but keep in mind blairMagnet is new to tournaments... in any case, keep those votes coming!!

We've never heard of these guys, and sporting a small roster means the odds are against them.

Update DE2: Bm didnt have a large roster, which cost them big in MWC.  In QR, they didnt manage a victory, but they did stay alive and kickin.  They made the DE with the final seed, 64th.  Once in the DE they faced the 1st seed >:(.  Bm put up a descent showing for a four man roster, but got destroyed in every game.  Then in the bottom bracket they faced a larger rostered MoL team.  MoL played better than Bm and sent Bm packing out of MWC.  We wish Bm gl in the future.
